Local Investments For Sale by Auction
Typically well secured investments or those in prime locations and/or with recognised tenants that are For Sale by auction are offered through the main commercial auction houses which operate in London. Two forthcoming auctions , one on Tuesday 9th March (conducted by Jones Lang LaSalle) and one on Wednesday, 10th March (conducted by Cushman and Wakefield) include opportunities of 'local interest'.
Several local Lots secured against Sainsbury’s Supermarkets Limited are offered through the Jones Lang LaSalle auction including Sainsbury’s Locals, at Hull Road, Anlaby, Newland Avenue, Beverley Road at its junction with Clough Road and on Sutton Park , Hull. Typically the investments are offered on new 15 year leases to Sainsbury’s from completion of the sale with RPI linked rent reviews on a 5 yearly basis.
The Cushman Wakefield auction includes McColl’s convenience store, newsagency and off licence on Sutton Park which is offered with in excess of 19 years unexpired under a commercial lease with pre-set increases at future reviews.
Each auction has in the order of 50 Lots with a range of commercial investment opportunities throughout the UK.
