Professional Services - Chartered surveyor with experience to undertake valuation and professional services workload.
Commercial Agency - Support for the agency team from a graduate or party wishing to move from a current career whilst studying for property related qualifications.
Residential Agency - Support for Scotts-living as the Practice moves from creating and developing residential opportunities through to wide ranging residential sales throughout Hull's central area and East Yorkshire beyond.
Administration - Reception, advertising/promotion and audio typing opportunities are often available.

Current Vacancies
FINANCIAL ADMINISTRATOR NEEDED TO COVER FOR MATERNITY LEAVE STARTING JUNE
Scotts manage a wide variety of commercial property both within and outside the Hull and Humber region. We have a team of surveyors for professional matters relating to the management of property and provide administrative support. A critical part of the service we deliver is the accurate recording of information, the charging of rent and service charges, the collection of same and the accurate banking and accounts administration to ensure the highest quality service is provided. We are looking for someone with the financial management/bookkeeping experience to maintain our standards in property management during a period of maternity leave. By starting in June training will be given and experience will be gained regarding the systems and procedures we use.
Specific duties will include the maintenance of the property management software through the charging, logging and allocating of property management finance. This involves both a sales and purchase ledger with credit control and providing client statements and payments. Regular bank reconciliations are required together with maintenance of bank cash books and a month end reporting for the Practice and clients. The filing system will need to be maintained. Cash handling and telephone queries will have to be dealt with together with the production of draft year end accounts for service charges.
The management systems and the majority of the properties we manage are long standing and the right person should be able to take on board the role with initial supervision. Support from colleagues on both the financial and technical side is always available.
Remuneration will be based on experience and capability. Jobcentreplus has allocated the role the vacancy reference HUW40687. Scotts Property has offices in Hull and Grimsby. The post is based at our central Hull headquarters in a friendly office environment carrying out a wide range of property related duties.
