Assistant Property Manager - 12 Town Hall Street, Grimsby DN31 1HN
Canters are seeking an Assistant Property Manager to join our dynamic team at our busy Grimsby office.
In this varied role, you’ll support our residential management team with day-to-day administration tasks, helping to keep things running smoothly working from 9am – 5pm, Monday to Friday.
This role involves:
Assisting lead property manager with the day-to-day responsibilities
Inspecting and documenting property conditions
Liaising directly with landlords and tenants
Reporting any issues to the lead property manager
Communication with tenants regarding property-related issues.
Coordinating with tenants and third parties to address maintenance.
Update and maintaining records of new and existing tenants.
Answering incoming calls
Helping with lettings administration
Carry out referencing checks for new tenants
Advise and recommend course of action on a range of property issues
Investigate and resolve queries and problems
Undertake viewings / property visits
Preferred traits would include someone that is:
Good at communicating both on the phone and customer facing
Have accurate administrator skills
Be highly organised with an acute attention to detail
Be quick to learn and follow procedures
Proactive, with a positive and customer-focused attitude
The ideal candidate will already have experience working in a residential property environment or have an interest in residential property with the role including the possibility of further training and career expansion and would possess a full UK Driving License and access to own vehicle.
