As our Residential Management department grows, and the number of homes that we look after increases, we’re looking for a Residential Lettings Agent.

The successful applicant will have established experience of Residential Property Management and will be hardworking, reliable and seeking to advance their career. The role not only comes with responsibility for managing our existing portfolio of residential properties but also includes the growth of the department by increasing our market share, listing new properties and creating great relationships with landlords and tenants.

The ideal candidate will be confident, presentable, a good communicator and able to use their own initiative as well as possessing a willingness to adapt and learn. They must have a good understanding of appropriate legislation and the ability to deal with high-pressure situations. An ambition to be successful will be a key attribute.

This role will include all aspects of residential Property Letting and Management including:

  • Helping to expand our existing portfolio of clients

  • Building relationships with clients and tenants to ensure all enquiries are dealt with regarding any aspect of the property/tenancy

  • Listing properties to let and providing advice to landlords

  • Carrying out viewings at homes to let

  • Creating and processing tenancy agreements & renewals

  • Managing the move in/move out process including deposit taking and returns

  • Carrying out periodic inspections

  • Arranging maintenance and repairs

  • Ensuring tenants and landlords are kept updated, regarding repair works, at all times

  • Issuing notices when necessary

  • Dealing with general letting, management and maintenance administration

Hours of work: Monday to Friday 9:00 – 17:00. Alternate Saturdays 9:00-12:00 (plus out of hours emergency call out).
